This will make two pizza rounds. I use the large round pizza pans with tiny holes in the bottom. This pizza is great with my homemade pizza sauce.

Yields1 Serving
 2 cups flour
1 envelope of rapid rise yeast
 ¾ tsp salt
 1 cup warm water120-130 degrees
 2 tbsp olive oil
½ cup flourin addition to other flour, to roll out the crust.
cornmealOptional - but it does give a little texture and crunch.
1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

I usually get a huge metal bowl and combine 2 cups flour, yeast, salt, give a quick stir. Add olive oil and warm water and stir until combined. Knead by hand in the bowl or on the countertop for a few minutes until combined and the dough is smooth - can use an additional 1/2 c flour to help dough not stick. Let dough rise 10 minutes then cut in half with a pizza wheel. Take half of the dough, sprinkle countertop with flour and coat each side of the dough with flour and roll out into a large disk. Keep the countertop floured so it does not stick. Put pizza crust on a round pizza pan which has been sprayed with olive oil and sprinkle pan with cornmeal before putting the dough on pan.

Bake crust for at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then add toppings such as sauce, cheese, veggies and meat, and bake an additional 15 minutes or until browned.
