Really cute. Fun to make for a holiday party.

 1 Pkg yeast
 1 cup Warm apple juice, unsweetened
 3 ½ cups Flour
  cup Sugar
 1 tsp Salt
 ¼ cup Butter, softened
 1 Egg
 ¾ cup Red sugar
 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon
 40 Raisins
  cup Butter
 5 Pieces cinnamon stick
 20 Mint leaves, frosted

Dissolve yeast in apple juice. Let stand 1 minute. Mix in 2 cups of flour, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, butter, and egg. Beat vigorously. Stir in enough flour to make dough easy to handle. Knead about 3 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl to rise to double. Grease 12 medium muffin cups. Mix red sugar and cinnamon. Divide dough into 20 equal pieces. Cover and refrigerate 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into 2” rounds. Place 2 raisins in center for seeds. Bring sides over raisins. Pinch edges to seal. Dip dough in melted butter to coat completely. Coat with sugar -cinnamon mixture. Place pinched side down in pans. Make indentation for stem. Let rise double. Bake 14-16 minutes. Cool. Insert cinnamon stick for stems and mint leaves for leaves.
