Aunt Esther’s recipe
Cookies
¾ cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
2 cups Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1 cup Cooked carrots (mashed)
Pinch of salt
Frosting
2 tsp melted butter
3 tbsp orange juice
grated zest of orange
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar(1/2 of a box)
Cookies

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in finely mashed carrots.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 14 minutes at 400 degrees

Mix melted butter, orange juice, and grated zest. Add 1/2 box powdered sugar (1 3/4c). Mix well. Frost cookies
