This recipe came from Jean Wolford, a cousin of my dad. It was delicious when she made it.

 32 oz Ground beef
 2 Chopped onion
 2 Minced garlic cloves
 2 tbsp Brown sugar
 2 tbsp Curry powder. Might want to use more. .
 Lemon juice to make it moist
 1 cup Raisins
 ¼ cup Dried apricots
 1 Diced large apple
 ¾ cup Slivered almonds
 2 Slices bread
 2 cups Milk
 Salt to taste
 3 Eggs
 3 Bay leaves

Soak bread in 1 cup of milk.

Lightly brown meat.

Brown onion, garlic, curry powder, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook for 3 minutes. Add to meat.

Mix in raisins, apricots, apple, almonds, egg and salt.

Squeeze out bread. Add to meat mixture. Save milk. Place in 9x13 dish.

Beat 2 eggs with saved milk plus 1 more cup. Pour over casserole. Stagger bay leaves down center on mix. Cover.

Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
